Project 3 Update

Focusing on education, my group and I have decided to represent the Literacy Volunteers organization. Their Family Literacy program emphasizes on the reading comprehension of young children. They rely on volunteers to serve as tutors to the kids who want to improve their reading skills. While it has been tough trying to get a meeting date with the Family Literacy coordinator, we have communicated with him through e-mail. He has let us know that his organization is already active on social media, so we are brainstorming different ways that we could help. Our main idea as of now is to create a poster campaign to recruit volunteer tutors. As a group, a couple of us have experience as literacy tutors, teachers, and knowledge of software (such as adobe) that will help us create an effective text.
