Update-- The connections and missions pastor emailed us back. He is interested in working with us and in his response he asked us to call him on Thursday in order to discuss further details. Some ideas we presented to the connections and missions pastor were that we could advertise the Easter service that City Church holds at the civic center, or simply pass out shirts, fliers, etc., to notify our peers of the church. Our call to action is to notify our peers of City Church and their events/mission/services/city groups/Monday night free dinner and service, etc. A constraint we have faced so far is a somewhat delayed email response, but we are fully aware that they are busy. From here on out, our plan is to reach out to the connections and missions pastor via phone this Thursday to see what it is that we can do to help, and then go from there.
