Point of view.
Writing is a mechanical skill and a form of composition. Writing is
feelings and thoughts; it’s a way of expressing yourself and being articulate. It
can be done anywhere at any time. It is how we communicate with other
individuals. Writing contains different numbers, letters and symbols when it
comes to interpretation of any kind. When writing anything, it’s best that you
understand the differences between grammar, punctuation, spelling and format.
These are some of the ways that will help improve your writing skills once you
understand their differences. They can help your writing stand out in its own
way once you master the idea of writing and knowing how to put words together. Writing
gives you a sense of comprehension. It’s useful for notes or reminders simple
ways to keep communication. Writing is language and language is what we use to
speak. Writing allows you to engage and create your own sense of style and
technique. It is a representation of who you are as an individual. It is a form
of communication and being able to translate your thoughts on to paper as your
own.
I
chose these words to define writing because to each is its own. Writing is
something that comes from ones’ mind and it can’t be duplicated. I don’t think
anyone can be told on how to express their self. Writing is being creative.
These words all serve their own role in writing. I think that it’s important to
find your voice in writing and to always have a sense of purpose when you
write. Your voice in writing can make a difference. Individuality plays a huge
role because you want to be original. Audience is one of the most important
because you always want to make sure the reader understands your point of view
and be able to relate where you’re coming from. Syntax is another way of
writing that can help you relate to your audience more when it comes to written
language. It gives the audience something to feed off of.
I feel that my map could have been better. Like Lunsford was discussing, there are other ways to grasp your audience attention. In the near future, I plan to be more creative. More color, more design!
