After reading Rose, lunsford, and Shipka, I have a much clearer idea of what my map should look like. I dont feel that my map is too off from their processes, but there are definitely things that can be removed and added. I feel that all three authors could agree that writing stems from knowledge and education, regardless of their differing views on rhetorical situation. Also, I think the communication aspect of my map was spot on for lunsford, who stresses that writing is conversational. Something that could've definitiely been added to the map is one of Rose's four critical visual methodologies: site, production, image, circulation. Something that could be removed is distinction because it didnt seem like any of these authors had to stress the fact that writing is distinct, it was just evident that all writing has different elements.
