I decided to focus
my project on the key-term “design”. I
was really impressed and captivated by Roses focus on the visual aspect and
visual meaning of rhetoric. I agree that visuals is very important and persuasive in rhetoric. The three artifacts that I chose embody the meaning of
design as well as present the differences within what it means to
“design”. All three artifacts are
distinct from one another and have different mediums. They embody the artistic
perspective and purpose for the design.
After reading
Edbaur’s article, I can understand that rhetoric is always in flux and evolving.
Circulation allows for the information and/or product to attract more members
in the audience and expand through the population. The Rhetorical Ecology takes
into consideration that changes happen in society and the interest of the
population does not remain stagnant.
