The way this map is interconnected is through the "Idea". I wanted idea to be the biggest circle with all the other terms connecting to it because I believe when you're mapping out an assignment the idea is the most central part of the writing, even more than the writing itself. When I compare my map to other maps I see that mine is a little more disorganized and abstract, but that's probably because that's how my brain is.
