According to Rose, one of the largest and most important elements of an image is the genre that it represents. I feel as though this closely relates to my connection with creativity and interpretation being key attributes to writing. Rose explains that the genre of an image has to do with its "compositionality" and can image how some images are interpreted and positioned into certain groups. Rose continues that some images fall into more than one genre, (which is where I believe creativity and interpretation come into play the most considering every image can be seen in a very different light to each person even stemming back to the authors intention, itself). After reading Rose, I think I am happy with my terms list and feel as though my terms cover an overview of the information explored in the scholarly research read. For now, my list of five remains.
