I think like Shipka's students, we were all at liberty to use multi-modal ideas to create these maps. It is interesting that we all took different approaches to create and portray our information with pictures, words, colors, and different layouts. Bitzer argues that we are constrained by different things that can limit us. Depending on the different information we decided to use or the different map we wanted to make, we were constrained with what we could use. The audience, which is important to Bitzer, is also a key idea in creating a map. I think that our maps were definitely showed Rose's ideas of visual methodology. We used our maps to portray our ideas to others.
