Writing is a form of communication. It's one of the main and most predominant ones. Writing is a form of creating text. In fact, it's probably the most widely recognized form of text from the general public that doesn't spend a lot of money (hopefully the government's) on college courses to teach crazy theories.

Writing lets us let people know how we feel. Writing lets other people read about how we feel. Writing is how we signal how we feel and how we want to feel. Writing is essentially anything that uses letters and characters to get some sort of point across, even if the point isn't there in itself. Writing can be an embarrassing Blogger profile from 2011 that you accidentally stumble over when trying to do your homework. Its purpose is that it doesn't have an immediate purpose. We write things without a purpose that serve a purpose for others.

We write things with as much purpose as possible and get jack shit out of it. That's the beauty in it. Life's most harsh and confusing binaries are the ones that stick the longest. There's a reason why they're confusing. They're unanswerable feelings we want and we want far away. You cannot escape writing, and writing will never escape you.

Context- You can sum up essentially the entire MEDIA side to EWM through the undefinable word "text" and the prefix "con." Text is essentially anything used as a medium to express something, whether or not the CREATOR even intended on it, I think. CON means "with" or "thoroughly," so essentially CONTEXT means what is paired up with that text to give the interpreter an interpretation.

Purpose- Purpose may be the word that starts out the sentence "Purpose Tour was Justin Bieber's tour that grossed $158.7 million dollars," but it's more about what a text means. The purpose of the word purpose in terms of a collegiate interpretation may gross a lot less money that Justin Bieber, but everything has purpose, especially writing.

Interpretation- Interpretation is how somebody distinguishes a text and what they feel it means. They are wrong sometimes.

Misinterpretation- Misinterpretation is how somebody distinguishes a text and what they feel it means. They are right sometimes.

Metapicture- Metapicture isn't really a word. I won't spoil the entirety of the WIAT??? course, but metapictures are important to me. They're the BIGGER PICTURE. They're the photo of the photo. What does a photo represent? What does that representation of a photo represent? Writing sucks and you're gonna do it wrong. Doing things wrong is okay, right? You learn from it. Not everything is WRITE (haha) in front of you and you'll see later on. You always do.

I went over the word requirement. I'm sorry.
