Reflection on Exhibits

1.  The exhibits that used physical artifacts in a nonconventional way are the ones that stood out to me the most. For example, there was an exhibit that utilized a dried flower to represent and supplement the idea of the 9/11 Memorial. Although normally a flower would not hold so much meaning, the way it was used really made an impact. The same goes for an exhibit which utilized a record player. Most people in this day and age do not see record players every day, so using an artifact that was both antique and novel to the audience was an interesting and useful tactic.

2. I learned a lot about the key words individually, but as a whole, I learned that the words are more than words. The words are called "key" because of the importance behind the meaning, usage, and implications. I came to understand things in a more general sense, which allowed me to understand the terms better. I also learned the practical definitions of many terms, thanks to my being able to conceptualize them through the exhibits.

3. I also learned about the difficulties of composing. It still is something that to me takes a lot of creativity and individuality, but I have come to understand it better. I now know that it is not something impossible for me, but something that can be accomplished through proper research and execution.
