After finishing project one and completing my artist's statement I would say I have a new perspective on writing and composing. I have always thought writing and composing are ways of getting across information to an audience and I still do however, I think that writing and composing is less structured than I originally thought. There is more freedom in writing and composing to get across your ideas and what the writer wants to tell their audience in any way the writer really wants to.

Writing and composing in the past has impacted my current understanding of some of the key terms because as we are beginning and learning how to write we are taught a broad understanding of what a lot of these key terms mean to help our writing and composing skills.
