My past experiences with peer review have been very
effective and helpful. Myself and
another classmate would get together in class or outside of class and look over
each other’s work for the assigned project.
After reviewing each other’s work we would each take turns to discuss
what we liked about the persons work and what we disliked about the persons
work. After we did that we would then
give helpful feedback to each other on how to change the assignment to make it
even better, little tweaks, word changes, layout, etc. The critiques were always done in a positive
light and not trashing the persons work, it was always meant as a helpful tool to
help improve each others work in order to turn in the best project possible in
order to achieve the best grade possible.
The feedback I found most helpful was the ways in which I could make my
project better and any spelling or grammar mistakes that the person would come
across in my work. I always find peer
review to be helpful and therefore have yet to be frustrated by it.
