Final Map

1. The words that are most central to my personal theory of composing are audience, genre, remediation, material, circulation, and exigence. I selected these key terms, because these are the terms I ask myself and make sure I have in my composed text to feel that I have successfully gotten my point across.
2. I used colorful markers to appeal to the eye, because various colors draw in curiosity. I used paper as my substrate for my composed map, because I felt that the paper allowed for the colors to pop more effectively. Limitations would include not being able to insert any animation or striking images that would look better than my clumsy hand drawings.
3. I designed this text with the main idea of efficiently and effectively composing a rhetorical text. So I used the upper case letter 'R' for the word rhetoric to display the main topic. I then included that in my title to show why I selected the 'R.' For the base, I started off with a megaphone that has the word "rhetor" on it to signify that the speaker is the rhetor and its pointed towards the word "audience" to signify that the rhetor is addressing the audience. The words that make up the rest of the 'R,' are displayed off of the base to signify that the terms are needed to create the effective rhetoric to the audience.
4. I will integrate my theory, not directly in my e-portfolio, but rather display it throughout my portfolio. I display my work in the e-portfolio to circulate my work. I remediate my e-portfolio to make it the best possible for my targeted audience. I use the genre and exigence through design and display that I believe would be most effective for my targeted audience. And the material I use to make the e-portfolio, allows me to display everything that is on my resume virtually and allows for an easier access for my targeted audience.
