final mapping

1. My key words listed above are design, purpose, circulation, environment, and audience.
2. I believe these key words to all be central so I designed my map to show that they are all connected. Although it looks like they are in order form I added arrows on the sides going both up and down to indirectly demonstrate that the words are interconnected and show equal significance through the entire list. Along with that, they have arrows pointing from word to word to demonstrate how they are all related and assist and define the word composing.
3. The reading path is intended so that the audience starts at the top where it says "composing" and works their eyes down. From here hopefully they will recognize that these terms all represent that word and are connected and related. They all assist each other to define the term, equally.
4. For this map, unlike all of my others, I decided to choose a digital route and used an online platform. I used the assistance of Canva to generate this image, this was helpful because it didn't require wasting any paper or needing any pens, crayons, etc. or even any artistic talent but instead it required my computer, internet access and time to devote to figuring out how to re-use this online service.
5. I personally define composing as the overall creation or process of a constructing, writing and editing a text or product of some sort (whatever that may be). I relate this to my e-portfolio because we have been working on building these portfolios all semester long constantly adding more, tweaking, editing and writing to perfect our final product.
