Final Map - Magen Mack

My most central terms are genre and circulation. Genre is important because it contains the contexts and materials for the actual text. That is why I made it the cup, so it actually contains the materials. Circulation is important because that is how a text is seen and experienced by others, like the steam coming from a cup of tea. I chose to work in collage/drawing because it is fun but also adds interest to an image. The affordances are the creative images and ideas, but the limitations are the same thing. There are only so many pictures in a magazine. I designed this text to reach an audience as a central idea made up of smaller parts. There is no single way to read it because it is a combination of things that make up another thing. I would like to integrate design in my ePortfolio in a way that all of the parts are cohesive just like this image.
