Final Map

In the theory of composing I would say that the most central word would be coherence. I believe that without coherence there is no way to deliver a message. Coherence is a tool that is vital to expressing intent and meaning to an audience. In my map I made coherence neat and large.

I decided to keep it simple and use paper and markers. This limited me in keeping the terms distinct because I had to reuse colors but it allowed me to develop a style for each of the other terms.

I used arrows and different sizing of words to show meaning, importance, and their connections to the other words. I would start in center and follow the arrows to the words and images to understand the map clearly.

In my e-portfolio I will apply my theory of composition in the texts and arrangement of the information. I will keep it clean, concise, and clear (all things that help with coherence). I want to make sure that the e-portfolio has a variety of elements but stays connected with a clear theme.
