Takeaways

1)   Before reading Edbauer I wouldn’t have considered something such as the saying “Keep Austin Weird” as a form of rhetoric, but after reading her piece on rhetorical ecologies it helped me realize that there are so many different forms of rhetoric that we encounter daily, just in different ways.

2)   Arola and Arola’s view on remix and assemblage helped me broaden my views on those two topics. Before reading them and taking this class I wouldn’t have though that I could incorporate music into this class.

Question: Do Miller and Shepherd believe that all non-digital works will phase out?
